Thank you so much Michael. My thinking is they are actually going to bear away and come into the Solent on a run, the spinnaker is just going up.

Today’s painting is an acrylic 90 x 60cm, canvas. Yacht passing the needles. This one is for the Seaview Gallery on the Isle of Wight. I used Golden Open acrylics on canvas with a golden ground to hold the wateriness of my washes.
