Lovely delicate palette, Marjorie.

Excellent. I love the way the vase and flowers seem to come out of the painting.

Like this a lot - that blue and white china is v good

Great Marjorie, I feel that I want to push that jug a tad though in case jug and flowers end up on the floor! 😀

Lovely, Marjorie.

Splendid work Marjorie. A great sense of 3D. When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought the wall was part of your painting. Eye catching.

This is great, Marjorie. Love the composition and the delicate colours.

Beautifully done Marjorie.

Beautifully painted, you have achieved a real depth appearance to the shelf.

Love the depth you have created and I like the quirky position of the jug, which gives the painting a very natural feel. The soft blues and pinks are a lovely combination Marjorie and make this a little beauty.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was 'trompe l'oeil,' painted directly onto the wall. It's a wonderful painting Marjorie,

Lovely with an unusual perspective Marjorie.

A really lovely painting! I like the three-D effect and the jug with the robin on adds another nice touch.

Thank you so much everyone. Comments often bring inspiration - Lewis , Frank and Russell, although the idea was to try a bit of trompe l'oeil, the thought of adding the wall around it interests me a lot. Think I'll paint something with that idea in mind. Thanks!

Clever. I keep wanting to stop the vase toppling out!

I thought the same as Russell Marjorie, it wasn’t until I spotted the light on the bottom right corner of the canvas that I realised the wall wasn’t part of the painting! It’s bloomin good gal!

Ha ha, whoopee do Fiona! Thanks, Gudrun!
