Thanks Gudrun, there is yellow on the sunlit bits which hasn't registered and pink near the darker areas. This is one of the few I'm quite happy with. Thanks Linda - it's a palette I love and hydrangeas have such beautiful colours in them.

It's beautiful, Marjorie, in spite of the camera difficulties. I can imagine how it must look and I bet it's stunning. It is already, even if it is presented without the finishing colours. Lovely. Brian

Think you need a good nickname Marjorie how about Metal Magic Marjorie sounds good. I think that if the light had been dropped a little behind the hydrangea that would have given more depth and dynamics. Also I bit of a crop from the left side seems to unify the subjects more. But as mentioned the photo is not doing the painting justice so a difficult one.
