Very atmospheric Marjorie. Is that one of those stone buddhas sitting in the greenery? It does look like one. I might be totally wrong. If it isn't, I'd just say that it is if I was you...lol. Well done for trying something different and that paper does look rather good, must try it!

Well done Marjorie! Lots of greens here especially with the reflections in the water. Are you going to try the Viridian/Alizirin challenge too? Watercolour isn't my favoured medium either so it would be interesting to see an Acrylic version.

First try with Jackson's rough paper(200lb) dried naturally in India! This could be beautiful when used with strong wet washes. However, this being my first time - and I'm not a WCist, I haven't spent enough time and it's very warm in the garden. Will use again soon though - gorgeous texture. I'm not sure my green challenge worked tho'. Can I use acrylic next time?
