Really superb painting Malcolm - great perspective, lovely palette, beautifully done texture. I prefer this version - the colours in the water and the distance work so well

I rhink both versions are equaly good. Never tried the cling film, must give it a go.

Lovely feeling of layering, and sense of depth. Super effect on the foreground rocks.

Repeat of the previous painting this time using cling film to texture the foreground rocks. The cling was lifted prior to being completely dry to allow for soft texture marks
