I like this wet in wet painting Margaret, the colours area so delicate and I like how the Apple seems to be dissolving. The few lines of ink that haven’t blended in with the paint add so much to the finish.

Love this Margaret, economic but striking.

Thank you so much Dixie and Fiona for your lovely comments - it was enjoyable seeing what would happen!

The colours have blended really nicely Margaret.

A lovely demonstration of how the pigments blend to form an apple with pen/ink , nicely portrayed Margaret.

Simple and beautiful

This has worked really well. Lost edges, wet in wet and not overworked, it’s lovely when it works

Lovely wet in wet sketch Margaret, you’ve kept the colours so pure, something I find hard!

Like this a lot Margaret.

Thank you Denise, Angela, Heather, Paul, Katy and Diane for your lovely comments.

A very quick, and rather late night, sketch for "Daily sketch" . A quick study in watercolour and fountainpen.
