I just spotted this on the forum and was about to make a comment on how much I was enjoying your watercolours. Looks a very nice spot Margaret.

Thank you Denise. It is one of my absolute favourite places - at any time of the year.

A nice, light watercolour Margaret, showing the various terrains and reedbeds from the edge of the lake. The faint background where the hills meet the sky does contrast well with the lower plain which is deeper in set tones for the reedbeds.

This looks very nice, Margaret.

Very effective Margaret.

A lovely watercolour painting Margaret, the gentle washes work well to form the landscape.

Nice pastel washes, very calming Margaret.

Lovely soft tones

I love your looses interpretations of Mereshead Margaret, I hope you will be able to visit there again very soon.

Thank you Angela, Mia, Diane, Paul, Carole, Hilary and Fiona :) Thanks Fiona, we hope so too!
