Love the wet look to this Margaret, you’ve really caught the atmosphere of Mereshead when it’s damp. I always struggle with that band of dark trees on the hillside, looks good how you’ve rendered them. Suppose to be going there next month for the day.....but something was mentioned about a few cases of bird flu south of the border, so it may be closed.

Possibly should have taken the clips off before photographing!

Thank you Fiona. I was experimenting with a lovely new big squirrel hair brush so being very free and easy with the paint in a much larger scale than I usually do watercolours. Hope you manage to get there - really sorry to hear about the bird flu. We were there a few times at the end of October but unfortunately haven't managed back since.

Full of spontaneity and very atmospheric, Margaret.

I don't know this area but it does look as if you've caught it with a lovely atmospheric painting.

Thank you Mia and Sandra.

Brilliant, I particularly like the pallet you have used.

Love the watery feel of this Margaret and the drippy brushstrokes. Lovely palette.

Thank you Paul and Carole.
