I like the golden on the trees Mike.

I get the appeal of this scene, Mike. Beautifully painted and I love the warm golden tones.

Simply stunning Mike - the tress and light are stand out!

A lovely composition. Mike, nice greens too.

been a strong Autumn this year - summer was long , hot and dry , higher temps extended into Autumn and colours have been strong with trees carrying their autumn coloured leaves in quantity so giving a fuller impact. Was annoyed with myself for not taking the camera on a trip to Palmerston this week - colours were still abounding in quantity. trees native to NZ do not lose their leaves in winter , remain in various greens , introduced trees (mainly English) are deciduous so we have the best of both worlds at this time of the year.

Good work here Mike...

You've captured a fleeting impression of light on those trees that is wholly convincing. Very hard to do this in watercolour.

Seen on the trip down to Wellington , somewhere after passing through Levin and associated townships. Appealed to my simple mind so perhaps should be re-titled "Much ado about nothing"
