I like the way you have made this look so realistic with a limited palette and an unusual shade. I don’t know about Santa, this made me think of Gandalf or a Celtic Bard or Mannan.

This watercolor painting was done using 3 colors. Neutral shade from FRAGONARD, hooker green light as well as a bit of perm yellow green from Van Gogh paints. Size 12'' x 18''. Went with a much looser style since working with new brushes that can hold allot of water...making it very difficult to go into details. I guess you could also call him my green Santa!!
