Thanks Mia and Dermot for the encouragement. I should have penciled in the figures first. Once the paint was on, I couldn't correct the leg length of the larger lady. I shall try another :)

Really great Louise. Girls out on the town. It's a completely different style but it reminded me a little of Beryl Cook inasmuch as it's girls on the town. We have three of her prints on the staircase.

It's certainly a 'hit and miss' technique and I had to use masking fluid and bits of torn paper to cover the background which was a waste of time really as I ended up painting it in. Good fun though and satisfying if it works. I'm still trying!
