This is fabulous Louise, your best yet! So full of life! I agree about the problems over the weekend I didn't quite realise how addicted to the site I had become, and I really missed my POL 'friends'.

Thanks Christine. Let's hope things get back to normal soon. I knew that I was addicted but hadn't realised how bad my addiction was until the site had vanished and was replaced by painters and decorators. LOL

These get better and better, Louise. I think you have explored the very loose phase and are now tightening up a few areas to give some variation. There are still the very loose sections, but now they are nicely balanced by the more defined parts, giving the painting what I believe is called 'push and pull'. I love the little bit we see of the ironwork chair on the front right - it is little details like this that utterly make a painting I feel. P.S. So glad POL is back on - I can now cancel my appointment with my therapist - I was beginning to twitch, lol!

Beautiful and vibrant painting Louise, I agree with Thea the front right is a beautiful area - the chair leads you into the two figures that are having a chat. I like the face on the sign at the back as well.

Good lively work Louise, interesting to hear the comments re.the recent sit probs. I thought I was over reacting but obviously the site means a lot to many of us? I used to get off the 98 bus from Oldham in Stephenson Square , many years ago -brings back memories.
