That looks to be a fast moving sky Lionel, very blustery. Have you utilised the underpainting here for the sky between the clouds? It's a great quickie!

Hi, Fiona. Thank you for your comments. To be honest, the answer about the underpainting is, no! I used a palette knife to work in the orange-y sky over the other clouds while all the paint was still wet. Thanks again for stopping by.

Superb work, Lionel - loads of energy and movement in the piece. Love that warm yellow underpainting that really adds the requisite warmth to the cool palette.
