Ha. They all trundle past our house. Have you noticed that joggers rarely look happy? Great images as usual Lew

Great stuff and spot on as usual.

Superb observations and drawing skills Lewis. In my case it would be alot of huffing and puffing for nothing I think. 😁

I think you've got these characters spot on Lewis, wonderful.

Four superb characters Lew , all recognisable on a daily basis and beautifully drawn .

Wonderful characters Lewis. Each one with its own running style perfectly drawn and the comments are so good.

All great characters. I see a lot of the enthusiasts about locally.

Excellent observations Lewis and great characters. They will all be out today in the sun, passing out.

Number 4 is brilliant - not that the others aren't great, he just appeals to me.

We have all seen these people at some time, superb artwork.

Thats what I mean lewis you bring all you characters to life. smiler to animation but in 2D.

Wonderful work Lewis.

Brilliant - I'm always tempted to mutter "it won't help you live any longer, you know", as they wheeze and gasp past me; I can understand running for the fun of it, though can't do it any more; but jogging because someone else (probably either a non-jogger, or a fitness freak) has told you to, and you're doing it out of a sense of obligation, taking no real pleasure in it at all, like your man on the bottom right, does strike me as being bonkers. And no, it won't help you to live any longer, either: it does nothing a good walk won't do; and without all that ghastly lycra, which most people just shouldn't wear.

Thanks or your great comments. You can't avoid joggers. Thankfully my days of even considering this are long past. When I was young, a long time ago, I did run...but preferred cross country on grass, never did like plonking along on concrete.

Wonderful characters. Having been a jogger / fun runner when I was younger I can relate to these!!

Hilariously observed Lewis, fantastic characters. It's the 'top right' type that amuse me most when seemingly taking an age to overtake me and then very, very slowly disappearing into the distance.

Excellent, I see them all every day!

Yes Lewis I have definitely seen some of these characters jogging by! Really well observed.

You either are a jogger or you observe them all around as you’ve done here Lew! Great stuff.

The top left one reminded my of someone I saw in Plymouth yesterday, but wore Plymouth Argyle socks, together with green shorts and a red waistcoat! Yours are all brilliant!

These are all so true to life Lew. I fit the last one!

Fabulous Lewis. Your first image reminded me of when I used to run Cross country at school wearing black plimsoles - awful things, especially on a stretch of road. No wonder I have bad knees in my later years!

I never trust a jogger - they are the people who always find bodies!!! Seriously, great drawings and so original, I envy your talent.

These made me chuckle so much Lewis, especially as I took up running at the age of 60! I can relate 😂

Hardly a day goes by without seeing joggers. Most look pretty fit, others less so. Good on all of them for having a go...these days I doubt that I could jog 200 yards. Draw in A3 sketchbook, mixed media, compiled and text added in photoshop.
