Very simple but very strong as a result. The colours are just Venice and the peeling stucco is beautiful in itself. Lovely painting Lesley.

Side canals in Venice have the most wonderful old buildings reflected in still water. Those quiet back waters are a super contrast to the hustle and bustle of the busy Grand Canal.
