Love your style Leonidas; the bright patches of green really bring this alive.

Really nice painting Leonidas, very vibrant.

I find this a very powerful work, and like the very wet, but strong, washes; and of course the composition. I'm interested in the surface you've used here - it doesn't look like conventional watercolour paper and seems to have allowed the paint to sit on the surface rather than be absorbed. Could you tell us something about it?

I will have to make a point of visiting Letymbou when I am in Cyprus - only hope it gives me half the inspiration it has given you - this is superb

This is really lovely, Leonidas. Fantastic glowing translucency.......did you use acrylic paper? I use acrylic paper alot, I like the extra flow and clarity it gives, and of course it's easier to lift out. You really do achieve gorgeous greens and turquoise in your paintings, and an individual style. Makes me want to return to Cyprus.

Thank you Jane, Fiona, Robert, Michael and Ann for your positive comments. When I paint water colours I usually use conventional watercolour paper. Sometimes , however, I use any other sort of paper .In such cases I change the technique accordingly , trying to achieve the artistic result I pursue.
