Colin Steed - Artist & Tutor. Yes Dawn it is a difficult subject and the perseptive is a challenge. Good to hear you made some sketches before starting to paint. Your persepctive overall is quite good. Had you have sat the two buildings on the right down on the path at the same level as the far building and tapered the far wall from right to left your persepetive would be almost perfect. The left-hand distant tree could have more blue in the mix to help give depth and the foreground tree and it's shadow could be a tone or two darker. It's a good attempt though, keep them coming Dawn.
