Postbox project

Very nice Julia is the snow plain paper or gouache? Like your othe one too with the girl posting her letter.

Lovely painting - full of charm and Christmas feeling. Nice to have a second go as it often brings out other aspects of the scene. Both your paintings of this project are wonderful.

Thank you both - I actually enjoyed painting the other one more but it does look a bit garish so thought I would follow the advice given in LP. The snow on the postbox is a combination of white paper and gouache but on the foliage it is simply gouache dabbed on with a very rough brush.

I really like this one.
