Lori Henney says: 'It was a pleasure and a challenge to undertake this painting. The sky is what I like best since it is not an easy part for me to paint. I found mixing the colors,especially the greens, difficult. Finding the correct perspective with the windows was laborious. The lady and child add excitement and fun to the massive house. I used brush sizes 12 and 7 on Daler Rowney Not (cold pressed) paper. The colors I used were ultramarine blue, burnt sienna, raw sienna, permanent rose, gamboge, and hooker's green dark.'
