Gorgeous soft colour, love you have achieved the subtle markings at the base of the petals. The background softness echoes the colour in the Iris Lesley.

Thankyou Carole, Rachel, I think the use of linseed oil helped, I will be using it again, it's also nice when mixing colours.

My version of Sylvia's iris s , I was unable to match those beautiful colours on my other painting, to I've used my artistic license with this one. Painted in oils on stretched canvas 20x30 cm.
