They do look a bit shocked Michael, it must have been your six pack!

Yes what are they staring at? Interesting idea Michael.

yes all different faces too Michael!

You are a keen dreamer, Michael, and your art takes advantage of that.

Thank you Margaret, Carole, Cesare and John. I did ask them what it was they were staring at but at that point I woke up, probably 'cause I was embarrassed and had to escape from it. There was a distinct impression of shock evident in some of the faces but I have no idea why. I don't have a six pack Margaret.

Fantastic expressions on these faces Michael. Some look startled as you probably were..some worried, a couple look frightened and then there's the chap, centre left who looks rather pleased. LOL

You need to keep that bathroom door locked...lol..

Thanks Louise and Kirstie. Yes Louise, I did feel some fear and worry was present on a few faces. I did feel unsettled about that and that's why I asked the question so urgently. But now I'm left with a guess.

Gosh what questions does this dream and collage of faces mean Michael? Are they judging, blaming, admiring...do you recognise any of them, you don't owe them money do you????lol There are some great expressions and all different emotions......just a thought, you hadn't been eating cheese for lunch had you?

I had a cheese toastie for my lunch Fiona, truly! You are a wise woman. I have no idea what this dream means. Perhaps you could best interpret it for me. It could mean something important to my present life, or for the future. I can't offer you any money for your interpretation services. I'm only a poor pensioner. Help me please.

I don't owe any money Fiona but people in the family owe me a fortune which has never been repaid. Could this be the answer? None of the faces are familiar, although I did think I'd seen some of the women before.

Ah....I see it all now Mick....it's guilt but not yours. The happier faces are the ones you've forgiven, the ones not so happy are yet to be blessed by your generosity of good will. The females are hoping for a handout for much needed facial therapies, I think. The only other advice I can give at this point Mick is; lay off the cheese before your nap and we both need to take just a little more water with IT!!

Another explanation is, Halloween will soon be on us and it could be an early visitation of 'all soul's eve' and they are just random lost soul's waiting in purgatory, which may explain some of the desperate expressions, they are having trouble expiating their sins.

Thanks Fiona. I think that both explanations could be very true indeed. You are so perceptive, reflective and sensitive to my subconscious. I feel as if a heavy weight has now been lifted off my lower body. The blarney certainly came with your family when they crossed from Ireland. If cheese frees up the subconscious then I will be taking more of it.

Automatism. Pen doodle and watercolour wash. I dozed off for a few minutes after lunch today and dreamed I came out of the shower and there were lots of people there just staring at me. I said, 'what you staring at?' and woke up. I immediately went into a state of automatism and produced this image.
