Yes, I've seen pictures of the blobfish, and like your painting they remind me of someone: I'm just not sure who at the moment. I do like your brushwork - I like to see brushwork in a painting.

I heard about the blobfish for the first time from my son. He asked me to paint one for him by showing me a picture from the internet. This unique appearing fish lives deep in the ocean where the pressure is too much for other fish to withstand. It is a complete blob; that is how it can take the strong pressure of the ocean. What fascinates me most about this fish is its facial expression. In addition, it has extremely caring parental personality. Surprisingly enough the blobfish's shape is very different when it is out of the water.

I was born in 1956 and lived in Yerevan, Armenia, ever since. I graduated from the State College of Fine Arts, named after an Armenian painter Panos Terlemezyan. I continued my education at the Armenian State University majoring in Pedagogy and Psychology.
