Love your 'trademark' darks - roll on the 'wilder' version.

Lovely counter-change and again you have captured the bright sunshine to perfection.

like this fine water colour .I love the striped shirt don't ask me why . Nice work Joseph .

The dark area on the right behind the chap in the pale shirt is just marvellous - brave and bold and it works magnificently. I think your paintings have enormous impact because you appear not to be afraid to use the complete range of tone from the inky darks to the blindingly white lights. Then you inject lovely bold and clear colours into the mix and the result is a painting which jumps off the page at you. Super stuff.

That shadow from striped shirt's foot is perfect. You're very good at figures and lettering for that matter..LOL. The trees are good as well. I'm guessing they'll feature in your 'wilder' version.

Wonderful piece - a good, strong composition and effective use of light to hold the eye.

Again lovely use of tone and contrast, works well.

Another brilliant piece of work.

Thanks all for your great comments, much appreciated
