Rudbeckias
Last autumn I planted lots of new flowers to try to encourage more bees and butterflies into the garden, and despite the appalling summer it has been reasonably successful. I wanted to capture the colours and so the idea for the flower paintings came about. This will probably be my last flower painting for a while - and I will also be reverting to a paintbrush to do some portrait work (and will begin to tighten up again too!!) Artisan Oils on Fabriano Tela paper (24x32 cm)
