This is my favourite of the gallery you have just posted. The sea wall is magic. It just has that certain something that makes a great painting. Really well done.

I totally agree with Thea. I love the colours in this painting and way you have captured the light - well done.

Many thanks for taking the time to view my paintings and for your positive response. I have been painting in watercolour for many years and only recently combined watercolour and pastel, giving another dimension to my painting, rescuing some that would otherwise have failed in watercolour alone. I don't know if it's a Scottish thing but wishy ,washy, watercolours are not for me. Colour, light and shade is what it is all about for me. Again, many thanks for the comments.
