Your architectural background shows in your work and there's nothing wrong in that. This is a super study and I do like the way you have depicted the shadows and reflections

As Michael says, your professional skill is evident in this lovely work. I have just commented on Dennis's loose watercolour landscape, next to yours on the gallery page, the two works are so different but I like them both, that's the joy of this site.

The light in this is fabulous.

Your architectural training has served you very well here, but this is far, far more than an architectural study: it's beautifully drawn, delicately painted - the colour, the shadows, placed with total expertise, and the line work which a lesser artist might have made straight, harsh, and solid just dances along on the paper.
