Although you can't tell, these tulips are white. They looked distinctive in the glass vase, on the old oak table. The vase was an interesting challenge as well, and formed the basis for the subsequent attempts, and "minimal vase". This is a live sketch, not originally intended for anything else. The location is Kettles Yard, Cambridge.
