Watercolour on watercolour paper. An experiment ... the paint from the tube was added to the paper without any water. A wooden rule was dragged through the colour, each layer allowed to dry slightly. Red added later as drops of paint straight from the tube, and printed with the wooden straightedge. When I started, I had the idea of waves in my head ( very topical in the current UK climate), but the straight edges created by the wooden rule made it less fluid and wavy. I may try again with something softer.
