My eye is taken down the left hand pathway, across the mid ground buildings, because of their interesting positioning and into the distance which you have achieved through cooler less intense washes. The phone lines are a helpful device to reinforce this journey. Like the foreground warms and background cools in complementing blues an oranges, purples and yellows. I'd say this is a very good painting.
