Portrait of a Child after Suzanne Murphy

I think this is much better than the one in LP! It has a nice immediacy to it and the features, especially the mouth are nicely done. I know that some will comment that the eyes are too blue, but I like what you have done with them as they become the point of the painting to me and stressing them as you have works. However, didn't you think this was a rather odd pose, with the childs hand apparently stuck in their ear! I thought that when I saw it in LP.
