Lovely dog and lovely portrait. Eyes, nose and tongue are especially well painted.

This is really lovely; everything about it. Only one thing worries me ever so slightly and that's the dark line round the left ear (Looking at it). It seems a bit too strongly defined but I really like all the rest, especially the tongue. Just noticed that back tooth stand out a bit too strong.

A beautiful portrait of a fine looking dog and I'm intrigued that you have painted oil on watercolour paper? I agree with Diana, the black line over the left eye (dog's right eye) is bit too defined perhaps, and the white tooth at the back of the mouth maybe could do with toning down a bit, it's very white for being so far back in the dog's mouth especially when compared to the teeth in the front. But a really impressive piece of work, well done
