The red-cross symbol seems to always resonate with hospitals and first aide, demonstrated these costumes,and the characters are from the Victorian era!

Thank you Angela. The inspiration came from Florence nightingale. My mother made me a nurses apron like this when i was a child.

This is an painting of a Victorian nurse attending to a patient. The blue hue is the candle light reflecting off the face. I painted this on paper with pencil and watercolour and pen. Please enjoy the painting.
