Nice one Spencer , love the colours.

Another good one, Spencer!

Thank you so much David and Stephen. As red is the colour of love I felt using it for the umbrella would be a suitable colour to use.

Another nice tribute to the legendary band ;)

What a good depiction!

👍 Nice one .

Lovely Spencer 😌

This has been an excellent series of paintings, another good one here.

A great portrayal of a song I remember the live performance well so well. Keep them coming Spencer brilliant.

Great idea Spencer, fits the title perfectly.

This is great Spencer, you've produced some fabulous images over the last few months.

Thank you so much for your great comments Lewis, Chris, Fiona and Russell. There are quite a few more planned. Much appreciated.

This is so tender and apt for the song which is lovely in it’s naive optimism

I love the concept and the colours in this lovely piece really work well.

The Beatles can do no wrong for me, part of my growing up and beyond. Excellent idea, Spencer.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Martin, Paul, Robert and Marjorie.

Absolutely love it. The best of the series.

This would have made a great cover for their LP, Spencer! Simple yet effective.

The song was Britain’s contribution to ‘Our World’, the first live global television link. The single topped the charts and became an emblem for the counterculture embrace of flower power philosophy. It’s unusual as it incorporates several musical snippets from other composers at the beginning and end of the song.
