‘All you need is love’
Continuing my Beatles theme here is my interpretation of ‘All you need is love’. It was written in 1967 by John Lennon. The song was Britain’s contribution to ‘Our World’, the first live global television link. The single topped the charts and became an emblem for the counterculture embrace of flower power philosophy. It’s unusual as it incorporates several musical snippets from other composers at the beginning and end of the song.
