Desert with Scorpion, Acrylic Collage, Canvas, 15,7x11,8 inch, 2007. In the sea from sand: Lakes with sea-blue water. Also in this acryl collage again different perspectives and relative importance as well as elements from different continents were combined and thus to a sand dune landscape with small water pool, which forms nearly a small brook in the desert. In reality the lower part of the picture is a small cutout of a satellite photograph of the 1200 of time 600 kilometers large dischargeless basin of the Arab peninsula and on Arab "Rub aluminium-Khali" ("the empty quarter") is called, the largest sand desert of the earth - an extremely life-hostile area. In the west many kilometers long sand backs extend, in the east rise individual sand pyramids nearly 200 meters highly. As blue surfaces are reflected flat seas, fed from rainfalls in the mountains of Oman - a rare and short-lived event in a desert. Within only less than one day the water will again have evaporated. Width of parts of the lakes are already drying-please - they appear white, because they reflect more lights than the water. Emerald-green of the scorpio fits coloured the flat lakes is however from the relative importance totally oversized and stressed thereby the character of a river bed in the desert. The edges of this "river bed" form broken, cracked dark-brown earth crusts, which resulted from laying on with Caparol bound cement and coffee set.
