I have had the wonderfull oppertunity to be artist in residence of the Island of hilbre. a small island cut off by the tide ,in the wirral. The solitude , there helped me to be very focussed on my work. On this particular evening there was a stunning sunset, Which focussed my mind on the patterns and shapes of the incomming tide. Painted with pallet knife and brush.
