Lovely loose work and congratulations!

Commendable work, with those brave and bold brush strokes providing a beautiful impressionistic rendition, which becomes wonderfully apparent as the viewer steps back from the painting. There's confidence in that cat. Good luck with the exhibition, Haidee-Jo. Not that you'll need it. *smile* Brian

Thank you very much Brian, I had to be so quick to catch it, that’s where the boldness came in! Unfortunately I can’t get to the private view this year because I’m in France but I’ll get to see the exhibition on the 20th.

Very dynamic, really like it. Lovely cat.

If you isolate any part of this, it is not a cat, but taken as a whole picture it obviously is! Baffling and brilliant in its simplicity!

She’s lovely, Haidee-Jo.

This painting of my cat Lola in my studio will also be on show at the New English Art Club exhibition, which opens next week at the Mall Galleries.
