Yes agree beautiful study Gudrun

Wonderful strong features, bags of personality Gudrun.

Good portrait as ever, Gujdrun.

Thank you all for your appreciation of my efforts. I do like doing these.

Your portraits are stunning. Love your distinctive style

Fabulous eyes, very striking.

Paint over them with grey and start again Gudrun. Another good one.

Fantastic eyes Gudrun. You can’t run out Gudrun, we would miss your leftovers.

Some more thanks for your encouragement. It's much appreciated. It would be a shame to destroy my portraits so I shall get some more boards.

Powerful, strong, beautiful!

Fantastic work on those eyes ,and another striking portrait.

You already know that I love this style Gudrun. What make of boards are these, and where do you buy them? I do like that grain!

Some more thanks for your lovely comments and encouragement. I used to use the Tela canvas paper. However, to frame portraits I had to faff about with backing board and glue (archival of course). The boards are lovely. Jackson's handmade linen board, oil primed medium grain, 18x24cm.

Thanks Gudrun, I like the Tela canvas, I've still got a bit left on a block but I know what you mean. I'll have a look at the Jackson's stuff later, cheers.
