thanks for the memory Frank , the park as I knew it had full grown bracken - these days they appear to mow it short for whatever reason - at least that was how it looked on my last visit there. - 2010. Hard to play hide & seek in low cut bracken !!

A really quick painting based on photos that I took walking round Bradgate Park last autumn. 2 minute sketch followed by about an hour with gouache on paper, 5x7in.
