Your pastels are MUCH better than mine! I've seen a lot of pastel work - I don't presume to judge it, because it's just not my medium, but I have noticed it can be very exact, very careful, very rich in colour, but perhaps sometimes a bit static: what I like about this one is the life in it - it's not finished to death.
