Carole This is really fresh almost abstract. I really like this. What type of paper are you trying, it looks very grainy with an horizontal tramline effect which works well?

Great Result -Carole x

I don't know why landscapes are not your thing, Carole, because you're VERY good at it! I really like this - it has harmonious colors, beautifully painted trees and foliage and great recession. A really super piece!

Thanks Robert, James and Seok, such kind comments on my humble landscape. Robert, it is a sample pad I received with Artist & Illustrator a while ago it's made by Hahnemuhle 'Cornwall' 210lbs rough.

Well you should make landscapes your thing Carole because this is fabulous. It's my sort of watercolour, I think it's great!

A lovely landscape, Carole; you've got the depth, great colours and a pleasing composition.

Well they should be your thing - this is quite superb - don't give up on them Carole

I agree with the above lovelly landscape

Thanks all for being so kind, really appreciate your comments.

They're not being kind, they're being truthful - this is a very appealing landscape, and I'd love to try that paper, even if it has got an extremely pronounced weave: I wonder how it would respond to a larger piece...

Lovely, lovely painting. Also one of my favourite papers. .i have never used the back of it, I shall now try. All of these pics are just a delight.m

Thanks Robert, yes it is almost like a canvas weave,I think it would be good for you to try for your style of painting. I will look forward to seeing it!

Thank you Sylvia. I love your colourful pieces, is this your usual paper?

No Carole I haven't used it in an age, but you have inspired me to get some more.

A beautiful landscape Carole, nice loose bushes in front and soft mountains at the back. That paper seems to behave well.

Super landscape, love the texture in the paper and that wonderful tree.

Thanks Lesley for your encouraging comment.
