Exquisite! I wish we had this kind of magnolia in our garden. Ours is the one that flowers every 10 years or more and maybe give you one flower for a day!!

Thanks so much for your kind encouragement, much appreciated. Gudrun, this is the basic soulangeana? It is laden with flowers in late spring, I would love the yellow flowered one with a lovely scent but it wouldn’t thrive in out wet cold area.
