Thank you very much all, kind to leave comments. I was trying out Art Graf, a solid piece of graphite in a little round tin which you use a wet brush to transfer the graphite to paper. You get many shades from it depending on water and quantity of graphite. I'm not very consistent with it so reverted back to pencils for most of it.
