It looks so wet and grisly Fiona ! After the constant rain this last 2 days it does make your interpretation very good.

I didn't see any rainbows yesterday but this makes up for it! They are hard to paint but you have caught the transparency well and definitely not twee.

I’ve seen it earlier during my ‘private viewing’ and I rather like it… I’d still like to have seen more rainbow than field, but an excellent attempt nonetheless - these aren’t easy! Turner was of course the master of rainbows, but he was also the master of light, so I suppose the two go hand in hand.
