Out Crept a Mouse

Comments

Believe me, he'll be back - I removed around two dozen of the little devils over a period of two weeks; although as he's a field mouse rather than the common house mouse, you might be luckier. My affection for them has waned considerably, but this is an etching of which Durer might have been proud.

What a great etching Deborah - Beatrix Potter would have been proud!

Cute etching, I’ve no doubt he will be back!

Beautifully composed and rendered, with excellent tonal work.

This is a drypoint etching of a Wood Mouse. It is produced in a small edition of 25. The print was inspired by a visit made by this little Wood Mouse to my boiler cupboard, which also contained my sack of bird food! This little chap tucked in over several days, until I was able to capture him, and release safely him down the garden. The size of the actual print is 10cm by 7cm. The paper size is approximately 20cm x 19cm
