Time is immaterial when creating Bob and this is good. The hands need tweaking, notoriously hard to achieve, but everything else is spot on and only you can tell on the likeness.

Bob you can always feel the love when you paint portraits of James. x

Thanks Derek, much appreciated. I agree, there is a lot going on with the hands in this pose. Everything foreshortened or hidden!! And I'm not too happy with the skin tones on the arms, but, as you say, all can be tweaked. It's a reasonable likeness, I think, but not bang on. Thank you, Donna. He's my boy! 😊
