Thanks Coral and Heather. I'm glad you both liked this somewhat quirky work. I intended it to be more refined but my expressive tendency prevailed. The area is also a venue for the local witches' coven. Needless to say, being a gentleman I acted accordingly.

An oil painting on hardboard with a composition based from a number of pen sketches drawn on location in Castlemorton, Worcestershire. I explored the colour range using representational colours and a number of abstract colours. In painting, you have the freedom to move and change the furniture. This work has received mixed views. One saying it should be true to a traditional format. The other view liked the expressionist elements. Both concurred on it being a strong work. Anyway, I'll leave it as it stands
