Whilst on holiday in Cornwall I decided I would play with this grid idea to represent the area rather than chasing finished paintings. This allowed me to look for inspiration to develop later yet fulfill my desire to be creative. I've included sand from Mousehole beach and collage maps of the area to add localised interest to the textured paynes and sketches.
