Nice one Stevan, this to me is a little like now and then ! The foreground being here and now and the background something that is being remembered with its lack of colour and features, just the way I look at and interpret things, whatever I think it's a smashing painting with great colours in the foreground and I really like the muted but again great graduations of colours in the background, nice one.

This painting was inspired by a remembered view from a walk on the South west coast path, somewhere around Zennor. As a consequence there is nothing accurate about the picture. My primary objective was to influence my usual pallet with more foreground color which was created by using gouache.
