Old barges and boats.

This is excellent Dixie. I really like the composition, your use of colour and those gulls finish it off so well.

I like it Dixie, I would have been there a couple of weeks ago but for the shut down. Unfortunately the Manon is no longer moored there.

Great result Paul, well constructed in your own style.

Really good Dixie

This is lovely work Dixie. I like your palette and the format which works well. A favourite scene for painters as it's full of life;. .

Thank you all for your kind comments. The photo is quite an old on, taken when visiting the area a long time ago Barry, it sad you cannot get there at the moment but something to look forward too.

Full of interest with plenty of intricate detail.

Nice group, Paul, makes a super painting.

A very complex scene Paul, taking your time on it has really paid off, lots of lovely detail and the addition to the gulls has made it come to life.

Thank you Stephen, Willie and Lind for taking the time to comment, much appreciated.

I do love this one Dixie. I think it's the red boat that does it for me 🎨👍.

20x50cm 300g/m Matt watercolour paper. Adapted from old photos taken near the Pin mill on the Orwell in Suffolk. I just love these old boat. The gull were added after the painting was completed, noticed that they are almost same distance apart and the two outer ones face outward. Oh hells bells you concentrate on one thing and miss another.
