Another brilliant piece of artwork, Diana. Absolutely superb!

Your depiction of the facets that crinkled foil has, is brilliant as always Diana.

Really good. So recognisable.

Very good effect, Diana!

Love these Diana, beautiful onion reflections on the foil.

More brilliance too!

A great piece Diana.

Love the contrast in textures between the foil and onion.

You never fail to impress Diana.

More brilliant foil, Diana - and love the round format, adds interest.

Thank you David. I’m running out of appreciation comments but every single comment is so valuable to me. Thank you Fiona. I was just thinking about you and your work this week. I was out walking in the countryside and your work came to mind. Thank you Maureen. It may be an ‘unusual’ combination but I lived the sienna reflections. Thank you so much Anne. Lovely to hear your thoughts. Thank you Regloh. It’s great to have you interest. Much appreciated. Thank you again Paul. I was most interested in those reflections too Carole. Thank you. Thank you Heather and Christine. It’s so encouraging to read that encouraging feedback.

Thank you again Spencer. Posting work on an artists gallery is interesting as comments are written by people who recognise the skills involved. Thank you again for your interest Denise and I hadn’t really thought about those contrasts Linda as I was rather focused on those reflections. Good idea to look at the wider picture. Thank you again David. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I love looking at the gallery but leats want to comment on everyone’s work.! Hello Jenny. Im pleased you like the circular format. It certainly makes a change and I fancy doing a thinner rectangular one too.

Excellent as usual Diana. It has a strange and attractive warmth considering it is foil

Great as usual, Diana!

Only you could make tin foil and an onion beautiful. The folds in the tin foil are superb.

It’s difficult to find what to say, Diana. It’s the skill of making the ordinary into the extraordinary. Stunning.

Your foil pictures are both great Diana; very clever.

Thank you Martin. It’s difficult to get a colour match on my camera phone but the onion warms reach out in many areas. Thank you Mia for looking. I appreciate it. Thank you Val. Those straight creases were the easy bit compared to the softer areas. Thank you so much Ellen. I’m taking a break from glass and metal for a while as got some other ideas to work on. I’m delighted you like the foil paintings Karen. I do keep returning to the subject and will again.

Thanks for your interest Maureen

Fabulous depiction of reflections as always, I particularly like the use of circular format, so apt for the subject.

11’’ diameter More foil though took more care with this one. I like the roughness of the previous one in contrast.
